Zero visibility lost. Rankings rebuilt from the ground up.

A premium garden furniture brand carrying years of technical debt, inconsistent organic visibility across key categories, and a high-risk platform migration on the horizon. We fixed the foundations, rebuilt ranking signals, and turned the WooCommerce-to-Shopify migration into a launchpad rather than a setback.

The starting point

Organic visibility was inconsistent across the brand's priority categories. Years of platform changes had left behind broken internal links, redirect chains, inconsistent metadata, and poor Core Web Vitals. All of it quietly diluting ranking signals on the pages that mattered most.

A migration to Shopify was already planned. The risk was real: move without the right SEO groundwork in place and years of accumulated visibility could evaporate overnight. The brief was to fix what was holding rankings back, then carry those gains cleanly into the new platform.

The strategy

We started with a full technical audit before touching a single piece of content. Redirect chains cleared, internal linking rebuilt, metadata standardised, Core Web Vitals brought up to a standard that stopped bleeding ranking signals. Category pages were then treated as priority assets: structure, copy, and internal authority all rebuilt around the search terms driving commercial intent.

Every decision was made with the migration in mind. URL mapping covered every legacy path, staging environment testing caught issues before they reached production, and a 48-hour post-launch audit confirmed the handover was clean. The Shopify build didn't restart the SEO clock. It picked up where the WooCommerce work left off.

This project is a strong example of our SEO and migration work for e-commerce brands.
